Embark on an unforgettable 3-day Tanzania wildlife safari, exploring the world-renowned Serengeti National Park in northern Tanzania. This safari package offers an immersive experience in the Serengeti’s plains, where you’ll encounter diverse flora and fauna in one of the most iconic wildlife habitats on earth. Witness the breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife of the Serengeti, including the Big Five and the extraordinary Great Migration (seasonal).
Itinerary
Your Tanzania safari begins with an early pick-up from your Arusha hotel or the airport. After a brief introduction, your professional guide will lead you to your safari jeep, and you’ll begin your exciting journey.
Enjoy a scenic 7-hour drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a chance to view the famous Ngorongoro Crater, before continuing to Serengeti National Park. Along the way, you’ll have a packed lunch in the park. After lunch, embark on a thrilling game drive to spot the Serengeti’s incredible wildlife. In the late afternoon, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Today, enjoy a full-day game drive in the Seronera Valley, often referred to as the heart of the Serengeti, or “the land of endless plains,” as called by the Maasai.
Explore the Southern Serengeti, where vast savannahs support abundant wildlife such as wildebeest, zebras, Thomson’s gazelles, impalas, and more. Continue to the Seronera Valley, known for its unique Kopjes—granite outcrops offering perfect vantage points for predators like lions and leopards. These Kopjes also provide shelter for smaller creatures like hyrax and reptiles.
After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, return for dinner and overnight at your designated lodge or camp.
On your final day, start early with a packed breakfast and head out for a morning game drive in the Serengeti, where you’ll continue to explore the park’s rich wildlife. After lunch, begin your journey back to Arusha, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy your packed lunch on the way, and arrive in Arusha by the afternoon. From there, you’ll be transferred to your hotel or the airport for your departure.
