Itinerary
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by our experienced safari representative who will assist you with your luggage and transfer. You will then be driven to your hotel in Arusha, a vibrant town located at the base of Mount Meru and known as the safari capital of Tanzania.
During the transfer, your guide will brief you about the upcoming safari, including important tips, safety information, and what to expect during the journey.
Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at your hotel, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, or take an optional short city tour of Arusha. This day is designed to help you unwind and prepare for the exciting days ahead.
Overnight: Hotel/Lodge in Arusha
After an early breakfast, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2–3 hour drive from Arusha.
Tarangire is famous for its vast elephant population and iconic baobab trees that dominate the landscape. During the dry season, the Tarangire River becomes the main water source, attracting large numbers of wildlife, making it one of the best places for game viewing.
During your game drive, you may encounter:
- Large herds of elephants
- Lions resting under acacia trees
- Giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest
- Rare species such as fringe-eared oryx and gerenuk
- Over 500 species of birds
Your guide will help you spot animals and share insights about their behavior and habitat, making the experience both educational and exciting.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park surrounded by nature before continuing your afternoon game drive.
Overnight: Lodge/Camp near Tarangire or Karatu
After breakfast, begin your journey towards Serengeti National Park, passing through the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
This drive is one of the most scenic parts of the safari, offering breathtaking views of the highlands, valleys, and traditional Maasai villages. As you descend into the Serengeti plains, the landscape opens up into endless savannah, creating a truly dramatic and unforgettable moment.
Serengeti is world-renowned for its:

- A full-day game drive with packed lunch
- Or morning and afternoon game drives with a break at the lodge
Serengeti offers some of the best wildlife viewing opportunities in Africa. You may witness:
- Lions hunting or resting in prides
- Leopards lounging on tree branches
- Cheetahs chasing prey across the plains
- Large herds of wildebeest and zebras
- Crocodiles and hippos near rivers
Your guide will take you to the best wildlife viewing areas based on the season and animal movements.
