Itinerary
Arrive in Arusha, where your professional safari guide will greet you for a seamless transfer to Tarangire National Park. Known for its iconic elephant herds and stunning landscapes, Tarangire offers fantastic wildlife viewing opportunities. After lunch, enjoy an exciting game drive, then head to your pre-arranged campsite for an overnight stay
After an early breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the scenic highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the vast, iconic Serengeti, renowned for its endless plains and rich wildlife. Arrive at the Seronera area, known for its abundant wildlife and the Seronera River, a key water source that attracts a variety of species. Enjoy a game drive in the afternoon, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at your campsite.
After breakfast, embark on a game drive along the Sogore River Circuit, known for sightings of lions, cheetahs, Thomson’s gazelles, and ostriches. Visit the Serengeti Visitor’s Centre to learn more about the park’s wildlife and conservation efforts. In the afternoon, explore the Kopjes Circuit, which loops around the iconic Maasai Kopjes, known for large populations of lions and cobras. These granite outcrops offer shelter and water, making them prime spots for wildlife viewing, especially during the dry season.
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in the Serengeti, based on your accommodation preference.
Start early to catch the morning wildlife activity as animals are most active at dawn. Enjoy a packed breakfast before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll enter the Ngorongoro Crater after about an hour’s drive.
The crater is a world-renowned wildlife haven, home to over 30,000 animals, including the endangered black rhino and a dense population of predators like lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater while observing the rich biodiversity.
In the evening, head to your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.
On the final day of your safari, enjoy a full-day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its diverse wildlife and bird species. After a picnic lunch in the park, head back to Arusha, where your Tanzania safari adventure concludes. You’ll be transferred to the airport for your departure or to continue with other activities.
