Itinerary
Begin your climb through the lush rainforest with a gradual ascent and sightings of exotic flora and fauna.
Trek through moorland with views of Shira Plateau and Mount Meru in the distance.
An important acclimatization day; climb high and sleep low to prepare for higher altitude.
Climb the impressive Barranco Wall and continue through the alpine desert zone to Barafu Camp, your base before the summit.
Start your summit push before dawn to witness sunrise from Africa’s highest point. Celebrate your achievement and descend to Mweka Camp.
Final descent through the rainforest to Mweka Gate for certificate presentation and transfer to Moshi or Arusha.
