Itinerary
Start the climb through dense rainforest with steep trails and stunning vegetation. Overnight at Umbwe Cave Camp.
A challenging ascent through forest and moorland zones, emerging onto the scenic ridges overlooking the Southern Glaciers. Join the Machame Route at Barranco Camp.
Climb the famous Barranco Wall and trek through alpine desert landscapes. Overnight at Karanga Camp.
Continue ascending to Barafu Camp, your base for the summit attempt. Rest and prepare for the midnight ascent.
Start early for the challenging push to Uhuru Peak. Enjoy a breathtaking sunrise from the Roof of Africa, then descend to Mweka Camp for a well-earned rest.
Descend through rainforest to Mweka Gate. Receive your summit certificates and transfer to Moshi or Arusha.
Before proceeding to Kibo Hut. This greatly improves your chances of a successful and comfortable summit.
